Lizaveta Mchedlidze

Scientist, Molecular & Synthetic Biology, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Lizaveta Mchedlidze holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in biology, genetics, and applied biotechnology. Since joining Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2020 as a scientist, she has been an integral part of the molecular and synthetic biology tools team. Her work encompasses a broad range of projects, including isothermal amplification, molecular cloning, multiplex qPCR, DNA and RNA modifying enzymes, and nucleic acid electrophoresis solutions.

Beyond her scientific contributions, Lizaveta is a dedicated advocate for community engagement. She actively participates in various employee initiatives, organizes charity events, and volunteers regularly. Additionally, she contributes to the generation of marketing materials, leveraging her scientific expertise to support the company’s outreach and communication efforts.
